If you want guidance in an informal learning environment, I might be a good fit. I look forward to coming with you on your adventure and won’t judge whatever your level (we all start somewhere and learn at different speeds).
If you want complex things explained simply, I have experience in university lecturing as well as guitar teaching. I’ll create bite-size exercises in line with your aims (not my aims) so that, with time and practice, you’ll achieve your goals.
If you want a tutor with a life-long love of music, I’ve played in churches, on streets, and in concerts, and have recorded lots, including an album. I’m keen for you to discover how guitar can help you express yourself and be the best you.
About the lessons:
Your lessons will help harness your creative potential on the guitar. Using my methods you can maximise your interest in practising and learning. You can even choose to combine guitar and songwriting techniques.
If you want to enjoy playing the guitar you do need to develop skill and technique, but we’ll tackle this in manageable, relaxed ways.
Playing guitar is part of music more widely. You can focus on exploring different genres (acoustic, pop, rock, funk, blues, and worship); learning songs by ear; or discovering how to play well in a band.
And If you want to discover the rules beneath the magic; I can explain music theory as and when you need it.
All in all, you design your journey!
Your Lessons can be an hour or 30 minutes. 18+ year olds only.
